According to PewReseach's political typology quiz, the "Next Generation Left" category fits my political ideology best. After reading the descriptions in the category in which I fall under, I do agree with my results. However, I still struggle with really knowing my own political views. This election will be the first time I'm eligible to vote! I currently do not know which candidate I strongly side with yet, but hopefully this class will direct me to the right one! Initially, I planned to take this class only for the credit; but honestly, I lack knowledge on how our government operates, so I am really looking forward to learn in this class. I hope by the end of this semester I will gain confidence with my own political opinions and understand how our government works!
